The festive season calls for feasting, and feast we did!
We pulled off five different media tasting sessions in a span of a few weeks that was attended by close to a hundred media friends! We successfully coordinated these media events for a premium Japanese omakase restaurant, a swanky live band bar, a bustling wine fair, an authentic Indian Restaurant and the first ever franchise outlet of a homegrown brand – talk about hard work!
The Gyu Bar launched a decadent omakase menu for beef enthusiasts. Guests had a taste of up to eight different premium cuts of meat and eight different methods of beef preparation, all expertly executed by the Japanese chef behind the counter. The media could not stop raving about the melt-in-your-mouth Yaki Shabu and the delicate Uni Yukke Cone that is a signature of The Gyu bar.
Just next door, Curry Gardenn had a media tasting featuring their healthy, yet delicious traditional North and South Indian Cuisine. A medley of spices was on display and their healthy cooking methods and ingredients were incredibly well-received. No coconut milk, no MSG and no preservatives, no problem!
At the historical Keong Saik Road, Drink Culture opened their space to celebrate their relaunch! The media had a great night with games, live music and the delicious food and drinks that filled their stomachs. They could not get enough of the creamy Tom Yum Seafood Pasta and addictive WEROCTM Wings that came in Mexican Fiery, Irish Guinness and China Kung Pao.
Over at Capitol Square, Wine Connection celebrated their 20th anniversary with an inaugural wine fair that offered over 100 wines including new labels presented by 40 producers. The CEO of Wine Connection and the Managing Director of Wine Connection Singapore and Malaysia even made special guest appearances where the media had a chance to interview these VIPs.
At the sprawling Katong Square, media friends were invited to a preview and tasting of SPRUCE’s first ever franchise outlet. They even had a live showcase of their signature handcrafted cocktails and had a taste of some of SPRUCE’s signature dishes as well as SPRUCE@Katong’s exclusive menu such as the Katong Chicken Laksa Spaghetti and Chilli Beef Ribs.
