Adding on to its premium range of expertly-made drinks, TP TEA has launched the Grapefruit Series for a refreshingly sweet fruit tea experience. The new Grapefruit Iced Tea and Grapefruit Crema Tea are now available at TP TEA’s two locations in Suntec City at #01-312 and TP TEA Express Kiosk at #B1-K11.
A Citrusy Surprise
Vibrant, pinkish-orange hues of the grapefruit drinks immediately give off fun tropical vibes, but beneath that exterior lies a craftsmanship that is wielded by people who are serious about their tea. Grapefruit Iced Tea is a delightful mix of flavours from fresh grapefruit, lemon and a combination of Black Tea and TieGuanYin Tea. Discerning tea drinkers will savour the rich and velvety aftertaste of TieGuanYin Tea, which is a premium variety of Chinese Oolong Tea, and deep and bold notes from Black Tea. The combination gives the drink a unique tea aroma and taste.
Combined with grapefruit, every mouthful is a gush of natural, citrusy sweetness rounded off with an earthy, roasted edge from the tea. An addictive bite of bursting grapefruit flavours and chewy winter crystal jelly completes the satisfying experience.
For those who love creamy and salty combinations, Grapefruit Crema Tea is a complex yet equally refreshing concoction. A combination of flavours from fresh grapefruit and fragrant Green Tea are mixed and sealed off with a smooth layer of frothed milk (crema). It has a hint of multi-layered taste – sweet, sour yet milky.
Quality Ingredients and Tea Training
To maintain the highest quality standards, TP TEA conducts strict raw material quality control, including the mandatory inspection of tea leaves and all other ingredients. They have also invested aggressively into R&D and even created their proprietary tea brewing and tea chilling machine.
Its TieGuanYin, Premium Green Tea and Signature Black Tea leaves are roasted to a specialty blend and flavour in Taiwan and shipped to Singapore. Natural cane sugar is also shipped over and used in the drinks to bring out the fragrant tea aromas. Compared to fructose, cane sugar is healthier and leaves a pleasing aftertaste. All tea served are freshly brewed and not from a powder mix.
Customers can look forward to consistency in TP TEA’s quality as all baristas go through rigorous training to perfect their skills to achieve quality tea texture, flavours and aromas. This includes learning how to control the temperature when extracting the tea.
