Times Square at Katong Square is being rebranded into the first ever Spruce franchise outlet
Massive TV display, resplendent modern décor, and hearty food and drinks guaranteed to satisfy the laidback crowd and large group gatherings
Spruce makes its way to the heart of Katong, taking over Times Square in the integrated lifestyle enclave Katong Square. This exciting endeavor is the brainchild of Danny Pang, Founder of Spruce, and Raiyan Kabir, Owner of Times Square, a Bar & Grill inspired by the vibrant scenes of New York City. Together, they launch the very first Spruce franchise outlet, taking its modern American comfort food and chill vibes to the East, with possibly more ventures to come.
Inspired by the casual, comfort fare of his travels, Singaporean Danny Pang founded the Spruce brand in 2008 and has been delivering quality food and drinks with genuine hospitality ever since. To move into the uncharted waters of the East, Danny enters a partnership with Raiyan, who has expressed his admiration for the Spruce brand and sees opportunities for growth with this dynamic pairing. With his five years of experience in the hospitality industry and F&B business, Raiyan is well-versed in the local and overseas markets of Australia and Bangladesh. Despite their well-earned success, a simple yet profound notion remains at the core of their businesses – their commitment to extending a warm hospitality to each and every one of their guests.
The new Spruce@Katong boasts massive TV displays of 200, 150 and 85 inches that stream anything from live sport matches to current movies, charming and resplendent modern décor, and a constant supply of live entertainment that will delight guests as they tuck into Spruce’s signature mix of modern American comfort fare and mouth-watering local favourites. Large group gatherings and casual meet-ups are expected to throng the new outlet, packing it with celebrations, sporting enthusiasm and complete satisfaction.
